A typical day

## A *simple and structured* daily life

Our activities will be inspired by best practices in specialized residential settings.

**Morning routines** — hygiene, dressing, organization.

**Meal participation** — choosing ingredients, cooking, setting the table.

**Light housekeeping** — tidying one's room, helping with shared chores.

**Occupational activities** — arts, crafts, music.

**Outings** — walks, grocery store, library, local events.

**Relaxation time** — soft music, quiet corner, sensory space.

**Evening routines** — winding down, preparing for bedtime.

The team by their side

## A 24/7 presence, a personalized plan

A team present day and night supports each person according to a **personalized plan**, reviewed regularly.

The Blue Roof Foundation's home will be run by specialized educators, support staff, clinical coordination and psychosocial support as needed.

Development model and framework

## A *community housing* project

Behind the living environment we describe to families is a rigorous development framework, aligned with community-housing practices in Québec.

### The model

- An adapted home for autistic adults, with or without an intellectual disability: 8 to 12 permanent, safe units on a human scale.
- A non-profit community housing formula
- Intensive on-site support, funded separately from housing

### Where we stand

- Project in the pre-development stage
- A team combining expertise in construction, finance, medicine, law and residential care management
- Housing model and financial structure being defined
- Alignment sought with public programs and community-housing partners
- Member of FROHME since 2026
